ALAP invites you to a Seminar on “Reinventing Libraries and Librarians” and its 38th General Assembly on June 2-4, 2010 at College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT) Library, UPLB.
With the emerging technologies, new issues, needs and services have to be addressed for the evolving roles of libraries and librarians. Among the issues to be discussed are education, emerging technologies, economic opportunities, promotion and management This seminar is intended for those in the library and IT profession, as well as for staff who want to reinvent themselves for greater relevance. A half-day tour to nearby libraries (IRRI, UPLB & Vet Med) to provide diverse exposure is also scheduled. CHED/DECS Memo and CPE credit units will be applied for.
Our speakers are professionals in the field and willing to impart their knowledge and expertise.
Seminar fees in the amount of P3,500.00 (live-out) and P4,200.00 (live-in) include snacks, lunch, fellowship dinner, and kit.
